The New York City chapter of ACEC endorsed Heidi Chain this month in the 29th Council District race, calling Heidi the best candidate and advocate for the consulting engineers of central Queens. The ACEC counts 270 engineering firms across the state as members, and has 8 regional chapters across the Empire State. The ACEC is very active in Albany and City Hall as the sole voice for New York's engineering companies, and Heidi will fight for the same issues (more Quality Based Selections procurement methods, Intro 755 that the NYC Commissioner of Buildings be a licensed professional engineer or registered architect plus more math and science after-school programs at NYC schools) alongside the men and women of ACEC once she is elected to the City Council. - Heidi is honored to accept the endorsement of the Civil Service Bar Association
